Hello Whitlow Families,
We hope your school year is off to a wonderful start! The first weeks of school have flown by, and it’s been so great to see our community coming together to support our students and teachers. We have several fun events and volunteer opportunities coming up this fall, and we’d love for you to join in.
Upcoming Events
Annual Fundraiser kicks off today through Sept 16!
Our annual fundraiser kicks off today and will culminate in a FUN RUN on September 16. There are daily challenges for students, and every donation counts toward supporting classroom resources, teacher support, and student programs. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed—your support makes a big impact on our school!
In&Out Family Photo Sessions – Sept 13-14 & Oct 11-12
Family photo sessions are available for a $30 donation to the PTO which includes the sitting fee and framed 11x14 photo. Choose from dates on Sept 13-14 or Oct 11-12. A great way to capture memories and support Whitlow! Signs up are on our website: www.whitlowpto.org
Spirit Night at Red Robin – Sept 30
Take the night off from cooking and support Whitlow! On September 30, head to Red Robin in Cumming and mention Whitlow Elementary. 20% of sales will be donated back to our school, which directly benefits our students. Invite friends and neighbors—it all adds up!
Family Movie Night – Oct 10
Bring your blankets and chairs and join us on October 10 for a free family movie night under the stars. Concessions will be available for purchase with proceeds supporting the 5th Grade Committee! Keep your eyes peeled for those presale communications! It’s a perfect chance to relax, laugh, and enjoy an evening with friends and family.
International Night – Nov 13
Save the date for November 13! International Night is a celebration of the many cultures that make Whitlow special. Families are invited to host a cultural table, share food, music, or traditions, and help coordinate activities. Whether you participate or just attend, it’s always one of the most memorable events of the year.

Wolfpack Dads Info Meeting – Sept 16
Calling all dads and father figures! Join us for donuts on September 16 to learn more about the Wolfpack Dads program. This is a fun way to spend time at school, be a positive role model, and get connected with other families.
Copy Parent Helpers – Ongoing
We’re looking for parent volunteers to help make copies, prepare mailings, and organize classroom materials for teachers and staff. This behind-the-scenes help saves teachers valuable time so they can focus on students. Even an hour or two is a big help!
